Staff

Dennis lives to see unconnected people find God in their lives. He is passionate about anything that helps people say “yes” to Him. Dennis grew up in Western Pa, and was and still is a Pittsburgh sports fan. Other than watching others play sports, he plays golf almost every week and takes prayer walks with his dog, Rahab. He graduated from the U. of Pittsburgh with a degree in Industrial Engineering and later from Winebrenner Theological Seminary. He was ordained in 1979. He is married to Ruth, and has two children, Joshua and Peter.

John is a dedicated Yankees fan. But more than that he loves the Lord. One of his passions is to visit those in need. He also is a great small group leader and always has several going on at all times. He and his volunteer crew clean the church weekly. John has been married to Sue for over 45 years. He has served FCC for 10 years. John was ordained by the Chuches of God in May of 2000 and has a degree in Pastoral Studies from Winebrenner Theological Seminary. He completed a year of internship as Chaplain from the York Hospital.  Currently he is chaplain at Providence Place.

Ruth grew up on a farm near Findlay, Ohio. She is a graduate of Penn State University with a Home Economics Education degree. She is the wife of Pastor Dennis Hall and mother of two boys, Joshua and Peter, and the proud Grandma of 3 beautiful granddaughters. She was the first Friendship Church secretary from 1991 to 2002. She worked full time for New Hope Ministries in Dover from 1999 to 2006 before resuming her current position as part time office secretary. She rescued a Lab-Vizsla dog from the York County SPCA and named her Rahab.

Pam loves working with children!  She has been a preschool teacher for more than twenty years, and since 2010 has been the Director of  Little Friendships Preschool.  She loves teaching and is very glad to be able to use this passion at Friendship Church.  Pam also loves taking care of her rain garden and releasing monarch butterflies and is a beekeeper, along with her husband, Jerry.  They love to travel to Chicago, sometimes just for the pizza!  Her daughter Jen is also actively involved in the church as she helps with the Children and Teen ministries and the Praise Team.  Pam would love to teach your children at Little Friendships!

Devin is a 2016 graduate from Messiah College with a degree in Biblical and Religious Studies with a focus in youth and a minor in cross cultural ministry. When she isn't with our teens, you can find her in nature, hiking, kayaking, reading, or climbing trees. She loves traveling around the world and learning from the people she encounters. She is new to Friendship Community Church, but is eager to connect with children and teens through Sunday School and Sunday nights Alive @ 5!

Dennis is a gifted Biblical Counselor and has successfully handled an expansive variety of counseling challenges during his career.  He holds a BA degree in Biblical Studies, completed a Masters degree in Ministry, and obtained his Doctor of Ministry degree from Carolina University of Theology in 2005. He holds ministerial credentials with the Eastern Regional Conference, Churches of God since 1992.  He has over eighteen years of pastoral counseling experience, has served part time as a staff counselor with Christian Counseling Services of Newville, PA, and serves in a full time capacity as Chaplain Manager for Country Meadows/Leader Heights, York, PA.  In this full time ministry capacity as Chaplain he provides counseling for both staff and residents on a daily basis.

Amber is a graduate of York College of Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in accounting.  She is currently a full time accountant as well as a treasurer for the church. She is married to George Witter. She enjoys gardening and pursuing her dreams. 

Sandy loves teaching at Little Friendships Preschool  She has worked with children for over twenty-five years and considers it a ministry of the heart.  She and her husband, Randy, have two daughers, Olivia and Deanna.  They enjoy going to Knoebels Amusement Park and visiting Ocean City, New Jersey every summer.  Sandy is also a talented artist and has worked on many projects for the church, including the set design for the stage themes.

Gary was behind the computer at the first service in the new church building in 2002 and has served in various roles since.   He has an Associate’s degree in computer networking from Keystone Technical Institute.    He has two children, Cody and Kala, who live in Dover, PA.  He loves woodworking and computers.  Gary enjoys leading the tech team in delivering the best church experience possible.
